San José one day tour

WHAT TO EXPECT

We will begin the day in San Jose where we have three designated departure locations prior to heading towards Sarapiqui via Poas and Barva Volcanoes.

We will have a refreshment break at Three Generations Coffee plantation where you will have the chance to indulge in delicious coffee, learn how it's grown and visit the shop!

Continuing from here we will stop at La Paz waterfall, a great place to get some fantastic photos, followed by a stop at Mirador Soda Cinchona which overlooks a spectacular view of San Fernando waterfall surrounded by busy hummingbirds.

When we arrive at Sarapiqui Outdoor Center, you will have the chance to stretch your legs, get changed for the river and enjoy local fresh fruits to give you the energy you need for rafting!

NOW, LET'S GO RAFTING! We will guide you down the Sarapiqui River, over rapids and through thick jungle. Make sure to keep your eyes open for the wildlife!

We will then serve you a delicious and healthy lunch before heading back to San Jose through the Braulio Carrillo National Park!

Schedules

Pick up in San José 09:00 am
every wednesday & saturdays

We will contact you prior to your trip to arrange a pick up time and place for the day.

WHAT TO BRING

• Swimsuit and / or shorts

• Sunscreen

• Lanyard or strap to secure your glasses

• Closed toe shoes, water shoes or sandals with ankle straps or tennis shoes are recommended.

• Regular sandals are not recommended.

• Lightweight t-shirt and / or polypropylene

• Wool shirts for cold or rainy days.

• Cotton T-shirts for sunny days only (they cool you down when wet).
