Discover volcanoes, waterfalls, rainforest, and rafting all in one day
This one-day adventure from the Greater Metropolitan Area (GAM) takes travelers through some of Costa Rica’s most beautiful landscapes on the way to Sarapiquí. The journey includes scenic stops at Juan Santamaría Park, the route between the Poás and Barva volcanoes, the Strawberry Route, La Paz Waterfall, and Mi Cafecito. These stops offer opportunities to enjoy the scenery, take photos, and, if desired, purchase local products. Upon arriving in Sarapiquí, travelers will enjoy a traditional Costa Rican lunch before taking part in an exciting Class II–III rafting adventure on the Sarapiquí River. After rafting, enjoy a tropical snack and a traditional sugar cane juice experience. On the way back to the GAM, the route passes through Braulio Carrillo National Park, offering spectacular rainforest and mountain views. A perfect combination of nature, culture, scenery, and adventure in one day.
Distance: 12 KM The tour departs at 8:00 a.m. from the Greater Metropolitan Area (GAM). Pick-up is available at three designated meeting points: Walmart San José, Walmart Heredia, and Walmart Alajuela. Travelers must arrive at their selected meeting point before the scheduled departure time. If you are staying outside these areas, please contact us in advance to coordinate a convenient meeting point or additional transportation. Any extra transportation costs outside the established route must be covered by the traveler. Important: Rates apply for a minimum of 4 participants. For bookings with fewer than 4 people, an additional charge per person will apply.
