Rafting Costa Rica Class II & III Full Day

Join us for a full day of rafting on the class II/III section of the Sarapiqui River – only with the Sarapiqui Outdoor Center.

The Sarapiqui River is one of the most lush rivers in Costa Rica and the best river for a full day rafting tour.

This section is perfect for beginner and intermediate rafters who are at least 8 years of age. Anyone can participate – bring your family, office mates, scouts, or school or church groups.

Experience the white waters of the Sarapiqui River for a full day of rafting more than 20 kilometers (about 12 miles).

This river run starts at our base (Sarapiqui Outdoor Center) in the town of La Virgen de Sarapiqui and ends in Chilamate Puerto Viejo Sarapiqui (Buffalo Bridge).

Our certified and knowledgeable guides will give you all the necessary information regarding safety and paddling instruction to keep you safe and help you perfect your abilities on the river. You will run famous rapids such as The Spout, Confusion, Superman, Airforce, and many more. Enjoy the abundance of plants and animals of the region and bask in the waters of the natural pools. Leave your stress behind and let us show you why the Sarapiqui River is the main attraction of this region.

Come and share a full day of adventure, fun, and excitement with us! We’re waiting for you.
