3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS WITH TRANSPORT FROM SAN JOSE AND BACK AND A RAFTING TOUR
This package allows you to get to Tortuguero by the most comfortable and the quickest way, you just have to wait to be picked up at your hotel in San José and taken to Tortuguero. Our driver will be giving you information on the banana plantations and general information of the country during your journey, along with answers on the questions that customers may have. Our transport has air conditioning and free Wi-Fi.
Enjoy 2 nights lodging, 3 breakfasts, Tour on canoe with paddles around Tortuguero National Park canals, Night walk or a Turtle Tour (possible choice from July to October) and walk along the path of the National Park. The return destination is again your hotel in San Jose, but this time halfway is made by a rafting trip by the Pacuare River to make this trip more enjoyable.
10:30 to 11 am Pick up at the hotel (only St. Joseph Center and vicinity). 11:00 am Departure to Tortuguero. 1:00 pm Arrival at the restaurant La Pavona (without food). 2:30 pm Departure from the boat from La Pavona to Tortuguero. 3:30 pm Arrival at the village of Tortuguero and accommodation. A lecture about the village of Tortuguero. Night Tour with several options (Night Walk or Turtle Tour, available only July to October)
From 6 to 9 am A tour on canoe with paddles by water channels of Tortuguero. From 9 to 10 am Breakfast (included). From 11 am to 1pm A walk by the path of National Park. When you wish you can take a boat to La Pavona. Free afternoon with an option to book other tours or to get acquainted with the people and the beach.
5:15 am Meeting on the main pier of Tortuguero. 6:30 am Arrival to La Pavona and then you are collected by CRRT minibus. 8:30 am Breakfast (included). 9:00 am Departure for Rafting. 10:00 am Beginning of Rafting. 12:00 am Lunch (included). 1:00 pm We continue rafting. 3:00 pm Arrival to the base, shower and change of clothes and then we continue our trip to San Jose or Alajuela. From 5:30 to 6:30 pm Arrival to San José or Alajuela.

NOT INCLUDED: National Park entrance, and meals that are not stipulated.
WHAT TO BRING: The only special recommendation for Turtle tour is to put on cloths of black color or as dark as possible, as well as closed shoes or boots. The village has no banks or ATMs, that’s why we recommend bringing cash.
