Experiment a rafting adventure on the most exciting section of the Sarapiqui River, beginning the tour in the town called San Miguel de Sarapiqui and ending at our headquarters in La Virgen de Sarapiqui.
this activity is great for beginner – advanced. (From 14 years onwards). Participants should feel comfortable white water, good physical condition and be able to paddle and willing to work together.
Our highly qualified Instructors will make you feel more comfortable and safe while rafting.
This tour includes personal safety equipment, certified Instructors also enjoy the tropical fruits on the river.
At the take out you can choose a bottle of water, soda our jungle shot on the river.
You can choose to drive yourself to our main office in La Virgen, Sarpiqui, its shipper, or we can pick you up in Arenal Volcano La Fortuna.
Depends on the option taken (morning or afternoon) we will leave our headquarters on time. We begin to walk the Sarapiqui River Heritage History Costa Rica. During the tour our specialized guide will teach you the different flora and fauna around the area besides the history that surrounds Sarapiqui. Guests can swim in natural pools in the river Sarapiqui. A halfway we stop for some seasonal fruits.
Tour is available all year round. Tour starts at 08:30AM, 11:30AM and 2:30PM. Tour duration is 3 Hours.
Sarapiqui River: 2 hrs on the river: class III-IV, Arriving at La Virgen de Sarapiqui.
Includes: all safety equipment, certified instructors, safety kayak during travel, tropical fruit, tropical coconut cocktail, transportation to and from our base sites and self guided botanical tour.
Total duration time: 3 hrs.
River Rafting tours require a minimum of 2 people to start. If the requirement is not met, there will be an additional charge of 50% of the tour price for tour to operate.
We recommend bringing:
• Swimsuit and/or shorts.
• Sun cream.
• String or strap to secure your glasses.
• Short or long pants (for sun protection only). No jeans.
• Water shoes or sandals with ankle straps. No flip flops.
• Light rain jacket and/or polypropylene, wool shirts for cool or rainy days. Cotton T-shirts for sunny days only (they make you colder when wet).
