This activity will allow you to discover the secrets and wonders of our favorite chocolate. It is noteworthy that the area cultivated with cocoa area is not for commercial use and was originally cultivated in the traditional way (mixed with forest trees). It was also used for research purposes for decades and part of it is currently used for environmental education and thus show the above process.
The tour will be led by a trained guide. Once in the area of culture, the traditional process by which the fruit cocoa chocolate (harvesting, fermentation, drying, etc.) becomes, in addition to exposing part of the pre and post-colonial history will prove the same. There will be possible to taste different types of chocolates, which are made by hand on site.
Regular Hours: 8:00AM to 10:00AM and 1: 00PM to 3:00PM. This tour is available every day of the year. After booking please contact us to arrange your visit. Duration: about 2 hours.
